AEC waterproofing consultants provide construction phase services to supplement design review/consulting services to review the quality of the work, comprehension and completeness of the contractor’s work relative to the construction documents, and to help work through unforeseen conditions or other conditions not adequately captured with the construction documents. The value of mock-ups and first installations cannot be overstated, as this is where many of the wrinkles are ironed out to help eliminate significant re-working of installed systems.

Such services are intended to accompany the services provided by the designer-of-record and/or general contractor, rather than replace these services.. Further, AEC can provide quality assurance testing, most often water penetration resistance testing of glazing systems (AAMA 501.2 and ASTM E1105) and ASTM C1715 wall drainage testing of through-wall flashings.
