Everett VerSchave has been engaged as a forensic engineer and enclosure consultant for nearly 20 years with a majority of his experience focusing on investigating problems with existing buildings across the US. The type of buildings ranges from single-family homes to high-rise towers to historic structures. While water leakage and cladding distress/failures have been the primary sources for engagement on existing buildings, other common problems include condensation issues, excessive moisture vapor emissions, and litigation assistance. It is this wealth of knowledge that is applied when assisting on new construction, from single-phase peer/design review to complete enclosure designer-of-record services. Our philosophy is to be reasonable and practical, but thorough.
